Small Businesses Value Corporate Culture – They Just Call It Different Things

I had the pleasure to attend a breakfast networking meeting early this morning and tucked into a hearty pile of meaty sausages and creamy scrambled eggs, all with a vista across one of Cheshire’s finest golf courses to the high Pennines in the middle distance.

The networking organiser who had invited me along was welcoming and generous in his introductions. He listened courteously to my own interests – and predictably raised the perennial question about corporate culture: surely, with smaller businesses it has to be all about day-to-day issues and there isn’t the time or space to indulge the relative luxury of corporate culture?
